PSA Water

Has anyone on PSA got water yet?

I have in Flatwoods
My question is do we have to boil it or is that just the town water?

If your water slowed to a trickle or stopped entirely, you are on a boil notice.

If you live outside of towns do you have PSA? I know I pay my bill In COE. Id love to take a crap indoors without having to melt snow first.

Flatwoods has water from the town of Coeburn and yes it should be boiled until further notice. PSA gets water from Coeburn at times, when they need it, trouble right now is that Coeburn isnt caught up enough to sell to PSA, by morning some of the PSA customers, like Sandy Ridge will be getting water via Coeburn. The water is fine, its just a precautionary measure until tests results come back, anytime a system is drawn down to low, then automatically the boil notice goes up, but yes it should be boiled if it is to be used as drinking water.

That boil notice goes for any of you on the Appalachia system as well, including Keokee. Both Exeter and Keokee were completely without water so boil anything you will consume.

Thanks for the info. I didnt know Flatwoods is on coeburn water.
